MACH Architecture is now considered the future of IT

Over the last 4 years we have seen a consistent uptake of MACH architectures across the globe. The US was slow to start and lagged behind Europe in this new technology architecture – but over the last 18 months, the US is catching up fast!

We were chatting to our colleagues recently who had completed a 3 day retail commerce event in Germany, and we asked if MACH architecture was part of the discussions… the answer was that its no longer even a conversation, its simply assumed clients are on MACH or moving to it.

Its interesting to watch how these concepts take off at different times around the globe, but for companies in the Asia Pacific regions, if you’re not yet thinking about MACH and composable commerce then you need to… this is simply not a technological change you can let your competitors get ahead of you with.

But what is it?

MACH architecture is a set of technology principles behind new, best-of-breed technology platforms. The acronym stands for Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless.
